The Razer DeathAdder Left-Hand Edition takes the quality and gaming precision of the Razer DeathAdder and contours the mouse to accommodate left handers. The Razer DeathAdder Left-Hand Edition is a fantastic Razer precision gaming mouse designed for left handed gamers who want the precision Razer is known for. The Razer DeathAdder Left Hand Edition has the precision 3500dots per inch gaming grade 3.5G infrared sensor and the 1000 hertz ultrapolling for the highest possible precision.
The Razer DeathAdder I received for reviewing is one of the newest precision gaming mice from Razer but I really do not feel comfortable giving the mouse a rating. Suffice it to say I think I am not qualified as a right handed person to rate a left handed product other than to say the features and such as well as a quick note on the left handed design, but the guys over at TheTechInsider.org have reviewed it on the left handed mode. The Razer DeathAdder Left Hand Edition is a mirror image to the Razer DeathAdder and has the same design as many of the famous Razer Mice only in reverse. The left handed edition does have the unique black design on a plastic and non slip top coated piece that Razer uses almost exclusively on their mice. The DeathAdder internally has the ultrapolling technology and the infrared sensor that uses 3500 dpi precision to make the fastest and smoothest cursor movement. The Razer mouse feels smooth when using in my left hand or my right but for gaming I really cannot use it as well as a regular right handed mouse. This is why I really do not feel I can rate the mouse as I just cannot use it as it was designed but like all other Razer mice I have reviewed this acts and feels great. The same quality program is also available for download from the Razer website and for a real precision gaming mouse experience you need the Razer drivers and On-The-Fly sensitivity adjustment. You can program different profiles which can use various buttons assignments and different sensitivity or polling rates for individual profiles customized for various programs or games. The bottom of the DeathAdder has a profile button to switch between profiles even while gaming so you don't have to exit a game or program to switch profiles. The Razer control program you install for changing the Razer mouse button assignments and other characteristics has the same unique sensitivity adjustment available by using a mouse button or other key assignment. You will get a pop up bar graph to be able to change the sensitivity while in a game or other program without having to exit or even pause the game or program. This in game adjustment makes for quick changing and fast response that makes Razer a must have gaming mouse and the precision sensors and fast polling add up to a great mouse. I have received several Razer mice over the years and they are the one I return to after reviews of other mice are finished and I go back to gaming for fun. The Razer DeathAdder for left handed people has all the Razer quality and craftsmanship and for my limited use, right handed use with the buttons switched, it has worked great. Although I really cannot play games I tried a few and the action is smooth and up to the standard Razer quality as far as I can tell using a mouse with the odd design in my right hand. I had no problems with the Razer mouse and it behaved just like all my previous mice have from a company that takes great pride in developing a gaming product that is the standard for others to follow. If you're looking for a gaming or just a precision mouse and are left handed you need look no further than Razer for your mouse needs. I highly recommend the Razer DeathAdder Left-Hand Edition for those that want a contoured left handed mouse that excels in precision and quality.
